Sports Therapy utilises the principles of sports and exercise sciences, incorporating physiological and pathological processes, to prepare our clients for training, competition and, where applicable, work.
Sports Therapy is not just about Sports Massage. However, our experienced therapists all possess the required massage skills which are an integral part of our scope of practice.
There are inevitably various definitions of what a sports therapist actually does. Our approach is that the therapist focuses specifically on both the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of a patient – irrespective of age and ability – back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports-specific fitness.
