Meet the Team
Rachael Lockwood, owner of Goole Sports Therapy graduated with a BSc(Hons) degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008 and is a fully registered and insured member of The Society of Sports Therapists. Rachael has gained valuable experience from previously working in Australia, a number of private injury clinics and with a variety of different sports teams.
Rachael specialises in deep tissue sports massage, kinesio® taping and myofascial dry needling. Rachael is also a qualified personal trainer, all of which help with rehabilitation programmes tailored to the individual.
Luke who has worked with professional sports teams and elite academy athletes has been at the Clinic since 2016. Graduating with a BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation degree in 2012 from the University of Bolton.
He specialises in sports injuries and deep tissue massage and has vast amount of experience with occupational injuries, for example repetitive strains and patients that suffer from everyday aches and pains.
Luke is now our registered clinic Roc Doc, providing taping for all soft tissue injuries.
Hayley Freer graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Science and injury rehabilitation from York St John University.
Hayley has gained valuable experience performing pre-event sports massage, her most enjoyable being the London marathon last year. Like all Therapists at the clinic Hayley’s specialist area is deep tissue sports massage and is a certified level 1 Roc Doc.
Hayley is also a qualified fitness instructor which gives her the edge providing effective, individualised rehabilitation plans for all patients.
All therapists are fully insured and qualified to degree (level 6) standard. Goole Sports Therapy is committed to continuous professional development, striving to give clients an effective, speedy recovery from injury with new and advancing techniques.
